 | Propolis is a reddish-brown waxy material as seen on the top of this hive. |
| | |
Propolis has been used for embalming since ancient times, and its properties have been rediscovered by the general public in recent years. Numerous scientific teams continue to study its composition and its biological properties. Propolis still holds secrets for us. With over 200 currently identified constituents in its waxes and resins, propolis is a “veritable cascade of aromatic nutrients”. The many active principles present give it really remarkable properties in combating all types of pathogens (bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi). Its flavonoids, organic, phenolic and aromatic acids, and coumarins, in the presence of numerous mineral elements and vitamins, have strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and painkilling effects. Depending on their plant origin, the chemical composition of these various active principles can vary from one type of propolis to another, but they have the same effects. |
| We have developed a range of products based on propolis to meet all specific individual needs: - A 50/50 hydroalcoholic propolis solution: Basic tincture - A decantation of propolis in honey, without alcohol: Apropo - A solution of propolis, honey, and hemp seed oil, without alcohol: Soothing oil | | Basic Tincture | APropo | Soothing Oil | | . | Soothing Oil : propolis and hemp seed oil |
| |
30 ml | This oil is very easy to apply, and it is not greasy, so you will appreciate its ease of use and the immediate soothing feeling it provides. With its strong emollient and penetrating power, the soothing oil efficiently combines the properties of hemp seed oil, propolis and honey: ˇ Powerful anti-inflammatory action: hemp seed oil and propolis With its physiologically ideal proportions of omega 3 and 6 (one omega 3 for every five omega 6), hemp seed oil provides full control of inflammation. It contains both the precursors of inflammation factors (omega 6), and their regulators (omega 3). Omega 3 and 6 are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, which means that they have to be absorbed by the body from outside sources. ˇ Regenerative and healing action: hemp seed oil and rosemary honey Rosemary honey is especially rich in iron, zinc and copper, which are important trace elements for healing. Hemp seed oil provides the phospholipids necessary to reconstitute cell membranes, and it has a softening action on the skin because it sustains the function of the skin’s hydro-lipidic coating (which protects the skin from water loss or penetration). Hemp seed oil also stimulates superficial circulation. ˇ Painkilling action: propolis ˇ Antiseptic action: propolis Honey is the vector for the flavonoids in propolis. By preventing oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids, flavonoids enable very good conservation of hemp seed oil. - Recommended for all skin problems:
- Blows, injuries, wounds, slight burns, swelling, bedsores, necroses and bruises - Infections: abscesses, herpes, psoriasis, eczema, cold sores, mycosis - Stings and bites: itching, insect stings and bites - And also as a relaxant for massages (muscle relaxation, decongestion), associated with essential oils or not, and as a daily skin care cream for the face and body
- Can be used on all animals
| Wounds: Apply 3 or 4 drops directly. If necessary, clean the wound beforehand. Renew the operation 1 to 3 times a day depending on the size of the injury. Stings, bites and infections: apply a few drops and spread them over the affected area. Massages: to be used as an oil, in the desired quantities, and in association with essential oils or on its own. This is not a medicine. Conservation Keep at room temperature, at not more than 30°C.
