In 1942, Albert LANDAIS set up in France, near the Loire valley, an apiary that he went on to expand to 1600 hives. In 1949, French scientists shed light on the extraordinary properties of royal jelly. Albert LANDAIS created a dietary supplement using royal jelly and queen embryos in a honey solution. He created the LAIDABEILLE brand and patented his mixture. Since then, LAIDABEILLE has become known all over the world by word of mouth. LAIDABEILLE is an essential element of healthy eating, and a basic product that consumers are always pleased to find Our Laboratories LANDAIS have changed a lot in the 50 years since then, but we have stayed close to the "natural" aspects of our origins. We are in the midst of the countryside not far from Tours, in the heart of the "Garden of France", and close to the Loire Valley that was recently declared a World Heritage by UNESCO.
Our apiaries stretch through woodlands for a radius of 20 km around the village of Cléré-les-Pins (1166 inhabitants, 27 km from Tours, 280 km south west of Paris). All our goods are made with products of the hive,
a wonderful environment
symbolic of Nature. All our products are pleasant to use, synonymous with

The company has an extensive export record: almost 40% of the production is currently sold abroad. 27% goes to EU countries (Germany, the UK, Ireland, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Andorra) and 12% is dispatched outside the EU (Japan, Singapore, the USA). |
